What abt Amex Green??? Solid 3x on dining, travel/transit, other credits etc. $95 AF. AMEX MR points are more valuable for transfer partners than most other exosystems, so this is one of my go-to's, since Amex denied me their SUB on Gold.

I dropped the Gold Card in my AMEX trifecta. I picked up the Savor One then got the Venture X for a year. Once I received the sign up bonus I downgraded to Venture One so I can access the transfer partners of Capital One. Amex and Capital One share the same transfer partners I value so it was a easy choice for me to switch from the Gold to the Savor One

I currently have all 5 of Capital One's credit cards, Venture sparks, Platinum, Quicksilver, and last but not least Savor. I love this bank so much. I even had a caught alone with them at one time. Why? You may ask because, as the commentator said, there are no surprises with this bank. Fees are at an all time minimum if they exist at all. Only 2 things that I see as cons. Credit line increases are not automatic. You 100% have to request them. For someone who loves the auto credit line increase. Kind of a sign you are doing good on your credit journey, that's a little disappointing. They only have one airport lounge. Thank God it's in DFW which is where I live. Besides that these cards are excellent. If you are on a journey to improve your credit, this is the car to do it with. They are nicer to the secured platinum people. Then there are other customers., how you may ask? You do not have to ask for a credit lightning. Increase with a 6 month. Excellent payment history. They will increase you after 12 months. Your card moves from secured to unsecured, and you get your deposit back. After that, mama bird Capital One, we'll kick you out of the nest. And let you fly because now you have proven. You are serious about your credit. I said all that to say get the cards. And never, ever ever ever carry a card that you have to pay a fee to carry that is stupid.

I recently started to shift my focus on Chase travel rewards from AMEX's to sponsor my entire family for international travel. I decided to get one due to its SUB 75K promotion. Having said that, it's not worth to keep it for everyday spending.

Can you add an Authorized User on the CSR card and can that AU gain access to the Chase airport lounge using their card?

I held off on this card because I didn't see where I could get real value from it. That is, until I visited the DFW Capital One Lounge! You can still get 2 free visits with the regular Venture card so I decided to check it out and I loved it. I had a 3-hour layover so all the free food and cocktails were so nice plus I was able to grab to-go food that fed me for the rest of my trip. I felt so refreshed for my 2nd flying leg. As soon as I got home from that trip I applied for the Venture X lol

On my SavorOne: I went to simple as Dunkin Donuts? Earned 3% back

If you often book hotel directly, then the Green Card makes sense for you.

Not sure I’m understanding correct. So as long as I search through united for a business class flight and it states it’s an ANA flight and it’s available to be purchased through united miles, that flight is for sure a reward seat?

Their Trip Cancellation/Interruption insurance SCREWED ME!!! I charged a $14,000 Alaska cruise from Vancouver to Anchorage. We got covid halfway through. They denied our claim because the it was not a ROUND TRIP CRUISE. We made the mistake of not booking our airfare back to Vancouver on the same card.

Recently used the hotel credit at one of the most expensive hotels in Korea (The Shilla Hotel) which I wouldn’t probably stay without the benefits. I would say it was worthy, I saw many affluent people and people in higher class plus the hotel was very gorgeous and stunning. Their amenities were top of the class, hotel workers were professional and good looking, hotel buffet was extensive and comforting plus the early check in and late check out did really made the experience beyond my expectations. When I came back to the US I did my global entry interview and I used my card to pay for it. Those two benefits alone I think almost paid off the annual fee. Hotel $200+$100 plus the breakfast buffet normally cost $50 per person and the global entry $100.
